What are some products to get rid of acne?

I have an oily face with acne. Could anyone tell me some cheap products that actually work? Neutrogena oil-free acne wash thing makes my face dry. I heard that Clearasil makes faces dry also. Can anyone please tell me a good face wash routine?

if you go to the doctors the can give you tablets for acne to help clear up your skin! The best thing to do it start a daily routine, wash you face and moisturise it. If you moisturise it’ll be in a better condition. You can get many different spot sticks also. I use sudocrem which isn’t just for nappy rashes! lol, it is could for all types of skin conditions. Also, advise not to use products like clearisil because what they do is clog up your pores so no dirt can get in which seems like a good idea but it actually makes them bigger, she when you stop using the product it makes you skin look worse than before.

good luck anyway;… also take vitamins, lots of water, drinking alochol doesn’t help, have a regular sleeping pattern, eat fruits etc, don’t eat chocolate. Easier said than done but they do all affect your skin!!! xx

Just that. A routine. Wash your face as soon as you get up in the morning. Use toner, then moisturize. As soon as you get home, wash your face, tone, and moisturize. After exercise. And if you eat lots of sugar and junk foods, that is a major contributor to acne. Eat fruit, vegies, and meat and your skin will clear up something chronic.

When buying acne cream look for something with benzol peroxide in it. You can get tubes that you directly put on spots that have 2-10% benzol peroxide. Start with a low percentage because the stronger the amount, the more your face can peel. After a while i found my face got used to it.

    Step 1 – Cleanse
Step 2 – Directly apply tube of ance cream to spots
Step 3 – Moisturise, it saves you skin from getting dry and peeling.

The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That’s because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin’s Sebum (oil) production. This results in…you guessed it – more acne.

So what’s the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won’t shock your body into more breakouts. Here’s what I recommend:

    - Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.

    - For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.
    - Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.

    - Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.

    - Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.

    - If acne medication isn’t working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.

    - One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an "oatmeal mask". The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

    - You may hear some people say that toothpaste is a natural acne remedy. It’s true that this can work. However, it’s really the alcohol in some toothpastes that make the pimples go away. You’re better off foregoing the toothpaste and simply apply a dab of rubbing alcohol on a pimple after you pop it. The rubbing alcohol will kill bacteria and prevent further infection.

    - Rubbing lemon juice on a pimple will also make it go away. The acidity of the lemon will dry out the clogged pore and balance the ph levels in your skin.

    Best of Luck!
