I want to quit but don’t want everyone to know, plus I can’t miss work . . . I’m trying to prove myself to a new boss. Help! I use meth every day but sleep every night. I am 48, F, overweight (so you see I don’t do it to an extreme). I know I need help, but don’t know who to turn to. (Not my husband, I tried that last year and he now wants a divorce) I hope somebody has some real, workable ideas. I’ve tried in the past few years, but I feel so awful and so so sleepy, I can’t work like that, I and really, really need my job. Since my big confessions, I am my childrens only provider. H e l p !

How can I get REAL help for my addictions without missing work?
Monday, April 26th, 2010How do your curb your chocolate addictions?
Monday, April 26th, 2010I work in a candy store where I can eat anything I want. I don’t want to gain weight, but how should I prevent myself from eating a lot of chocolate? I go to the gym everyday as it is.
To explain: we sell designer chocolate and make our own fudge. And I have been there for a little over a month.
What are some good coping skills for quitting addictions?
Monday, April 26th, 2010My boyfriend is quitting smoking and I am quitting caffeine by the end of the year. Any good advice and ways to cope for the both of us as we quit our vices?
Does Auriculotherapy work for all addictions or JUST smoking?
Monday, April 26th, 2010Hey guys. just wanted to know if any of you have any previous history or experience with Auriculotherapy . The zero smoke website has the new magnets that go on your ear for 3-4 hours a day. They claim that your smoking addiction will be gone, but i’m wondering if its the same for other addictions, or if it’s simply for smoking.
I don’t mean like alcohol addiction, or weed addiction. I mean like pain pills, or sleeping pills…etc.
It’s a magnet that goes on the ear, and I’m wondering if it is supposed to work for other things too.
Any ideas?
Also, to the "It’s all in your head" posters. please stop right there. I just wanted to know HOW many addictions this can help with. thanks.
What should be done by people who turn to addictions to end pain ?
Monday, April 26th, 2010Especially if they are prone to do it when highly emotional and sometimes they think they want to use too much and die, but they don’t really mean it.
I’m asking to know the best way to help someone in that situation…. Do not say call an ambulance. This is something that just happens to them sometimes and they get over it. Want to know how to expediate that process and end their craving for substances in the first place.
