My young son is on Enbrel for arthritis. His uncle had psoriatic arthritis also and had been on Enbrel for 3 years, then had cancer 3 months ago. He died last week from it. His doctors thought Enbrel caused the cancer. We’re looking for doctors to give alternative treatment without Enbrel.

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010I have had arthritis since I was like 20. (I am 26 now.) It is getting so bad lately … Even with meds I can’t play much with my 6 year old, I can’t drive my car, I can only make it through half a day at work, I can’t even fully dress myself!
Due to severe depression, I have reached a new all-time high in the weight department this year. I am determine to loose weight. But I am curious … Is it likely to have much of an affect on the arthritis in my wrists? I mean, it’s not like they have to support the weight of my body. But I am sure that being overweight is having some impact on them – I just don’t know how much.
