What does it mean to have high blood pressure? how does it affect ur body?
My husband said he was feeling dizzy and nauseous yesterday, we went to the store where they had a machine to check his blood pressure and it was like 144 supposedly it was high, we don’t know nothing about blood pressure, But how does it affect people I mean he is only 22 who ever gives me the most info on it gets 10 points, thanks!

I used one of those Kiosk blood pressure machines at a local pharmacy and put my arm in the cuff and tested. It said that my Systolic is 130 over 88 diastolic. WHat does this mean? Someone told me that 88 was above normal. If it was, why would that happen and how can I prevent that?

I have an automatic at-home blood pressure monitor and there are some times when it has an error reading because I have trouble with the arm cuff and strapping it on correctly. I usually wait about 2 minutes before repeating the reading and sometimes I will still mess up. There are times when I will take a reading on the same arm about 4-5 times within 15 minutes. My question is, can this be dangerous or harmful at all? Sometimes it will just leave me with a sore arm for a little while.
