preventing irritable bowel syndrome?
I’ve been feeling really anxious lately and I know that my IBS is going to flare up tonight because my stomach was churning when I woke up this morning. I have to work tonight and I’ll have a meal break. If I don’t eat I’ll have no energy but if i do eat i’ll get sick. My IBS is severe cramping and diarrhea. Is there anyway I can prevent it from flaring up?
What are foods with fiber supposed to do with your body? Why don't I have many bowel movements?
I eat frosted mini-wheats, beans, spinach, etc., & the most I do is fart. & I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, & I get lots of stomach pains.

I’m 13 and lately, I have been going to the toilet a bit irregularly. Some days I wouldn’t go at all, and others I would have diarrhea. I have pains in both my sides, and when I make no.2, it feels like I have more to come even though I don’t. Is this ibs, or am I going to die????

I have a qustion about Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Could ibs lead to a pain inyour lower right stomach where when you press on it or push pressure on it , it hurts. When i suck in or push on my right lower stomach its painfull. Its not my appendix, im 100 percent sure, this has been going on for about 5 years now, and when i was younger i was always having stomach problems, i was born with colic and then at age 8 had stomach surgery for too many gastric juices in my stomach or w/e. Could i have ibs and it just be a painful pain?? im really not sure, and i dont have insurance to go to a doctor, and i’d like to know somewhat what i may have before i go to a doctor so i can describe things a little better. what is the medical name for people who hold in their bowel movements?
So I’m wondering what the technical term is for people who hold in their bowel movements. I’m not talking about constipation or incontinence or irritable bowel. I believe it is a mental disorder where people refuse to defecate, they hold it in. Anyone know?

my friend has got ibs, and she says that it is quite serious, and may die young. I don’t know any thing about it and would like to find out more but i don’t wont to ask too many questions in case i up set her. Any information would be very helpful. x
