I have a 15 year old who has little contact with her father I know that she’s going to be especially afraid of something happening to me. Even though they are pretty sure it’s 1st stage breast cancer and the prognosis is good how do I help her deal with her fear? I also have to deal with what I’m going through are there support groups for the families or children of cancer patients?
How do I deal with a distant friend whose mom is dying of cancer?
She and I had our debates, and she always seam distant with me. I want to support her since I found her mom has cancer that spread quickly.Today I found she is more likely going succumb to it because it’s in both kidneys! Its hard to be there when I do text or call she wont get back. She tells another friend to relay the news to me.Thats how I found today about it. Im willing to put past issues aside and be supportive! What do u suggest?
Can a family history of Cervical Cancer be passed down by men?
My girlfriends dads mom (her grandma) died of cervical cancer. I was just wondering because of the family history of the cancer could it have been passed down from the father to her? Considering that men do not have cervix’s and it can only happen in women Im not sure if her dad could have passed it on.
Im pretty sure that male pattern baldness cant be passed on through women (I may be wrong) but I was wondering if cervical cancer was a similar sort of thing?
